About Me
Background
Having an Electrical Engineering background I have always been intrigued with solving problems.
This is probably one of the reasons that I made the switch pretty easily from engineering to writing code.
I graduated from the University of New Haven in 1997 and worked as engineer and migrated into marketing as I had the chance to
travel the world displaying dsl products at trade shows.
Getting my feet wet
After being in the marketing world I found that it wasn't so easy to get back into the
calculus intensive world of Electrical Engineering.
It was about this time when I started dabbling in building basic HTML websites. In the good ol' days
of the internet Websites were pretty easy to build, but more importantly they were easy to get listed in search engines.
I found it a challenge to bring a website into the top ten of Google or Yahoo.
As the years progressed and companies started realizing the potential of being at the top of a search it became
more and more difficult as companies started pouring millions of dollars into their efforts.
That's when i realized that if I wanted to play with the big boys I had
to get more serious with, not only my website marketing, but the mechanics of website building as well.
To the Present Day
Fast forward and you'll find me at Naugatuck Community College
taking a few VB.Net courses to find out what data driven websites are all about. I was hooked. After one course of Visual Basic I realized that this is what I wanted to do.
I was on a mission to not only learn the technology, but to be the best programmer in my class. I took a few courses a semester and over time received an invitation
International Honor Society Thi Beta Kappa. I decided to take a job as a programmer at EIntegrity-USA to see how professional websites are built from
start to finish, and it really exceeded my expectations. As the economy has taken its toll on many companies, I thought it would be as good of a time as any to jump into the consulting world
and help companies save some money by reducing their IT department. And so it goes, I am here to help. Please feel to contact me any time and I can price out any ideas that you have
in regards to your website.
